1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HabitrackerAI at habitrackerai.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is a free, static habit tracker website with no account system.

2. The service — free, local-first

HabitrackerAI provides a free habit tracker online: daily checkboxes, counters, timers, streaks, heatmaps, templates, import/export, and printing. All tracker data is stored only in your browser's localStorage. We operate no server database for your habits and cannot sync, recover, or restore data you delete or lose by clearing browser data.

3. No accounts, backups are your responsibility

There is no signup, login, password, or cloud backup. You are responsible for exporting JSON backups from /app or /my-trackers before clearing site data, switching browsers, or resetting your device. We are not liable for data loss caused by browser clearing, private/incognito mode, or device issues.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape abusively, or reverse-engineer the site
• Inject malicious code, spam, or unlawful content via tracker names or imports
• Misrepresent the Service as medical, legal, or professional advice
• Use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or others' rights

5. Not medical or professional advice

Habit templates (fitness, sleep, study, work) are general productivity suggestions, not medical, mental-health, nutritional, or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for health decisions. Use minimum versions and rest sensibly — consistency beats intensity.

6. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, templates, and code are owned by HabitrackerAI unless otherwise noted. You may use templates for personal, educational, or workplace habit tracking, and you may print or export your own data freely. You may not copy, re-host, or resell the Service as your own product without permission.

7. Third-party services

The site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts. Use of that font delivery is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy. We do not control third-party networks and are not responsible for their availability or practices.

8. Availability & changes

The Service is provided free of charge and may be updated, paused, or discontinued at any time. We may update these terms; the Last updated date above will change, and continued use after changes means you accept them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or offline-perfect operation across all browsers.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HabitrackerAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use of the Service. Because the Service is free and local-only, your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it and export or delete your local data.
